Today started off like any other day – getting up with my little munchkin and making him his breakfast. Steve is on night shifts at the moment and doesn’t finish until 6.30am, so he rolled into bed at roughly 7.30am – just an hour before I needed to be up myself! Luckily, whilst I’m at work during the day and Steve’s sleeping, my parents are looking after Jack, something Jack loves – he is so spoilt by Nanny and Grandad!
I was only doing a 4 hour shift today, nothing too strenuous, however due to living in a village with abysmal transport links, I have to get the bus that gets me into town an hour earlier than my work start time as I just cannot rely on waiting for the next one in case it is – inevitably – late. Don’t get me started on public transport! Of course, this does nothing to help my May Spending Ban so I had to rush upstairs at work – where I wouldn’t be tempted by Boots, Superdrug, Waterstones etc – to read my book and get distracted by numerous bodies bundling their way in and out of the staffroom. Not exactly painting the most glamourous picture here, am I?
I then did my 4 hour shift, waited around to get home, spent about 5 minutes before Steve went to work and am quickly blogging this whilst Jack has his milk before bedtime. Oh, what a glamourous life I do lead – this is pretty much what happens EVERY DAY.

I love reading about everyone's days – we all seem to think that what we do is boring, but in reality its fascinating to others. I enjoyed reading yours because I'm always intrigued as to how people who have children structure their days. I'm sure a photo diary would be just as interesting, I'd love to see it 🙂 x
I agree, actually 🙂 Thanks hun x
I am enjoying reading about what people do during the day xx

I'm enjoying reading your activities. Mine is seems boring as it keeps rotating around the house.
Btw, I found your blog through I Love My Post Blog Hop and followed your blog as well through Google Friend Connect. If you can follow back that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks xx
