Day 15 – how are we all getting on?
I don’t know about you but I always see January as that fresh new start – the opportunity to forget all the mistakes and regrets of the previous years and start anew with new plans, new goals and a fresh outlook.
Now something I always resolve to do is lose weight and get fitter and over the years, sometimes this goal has been successful whereas some years it hasn’t. I’ve fluctuated in weight over the years and I went from a couch potato to someone who loved keeping active – walking, running and playing squash among other things – back to a couch potato again after having Olivia and I haven’t quite got my fitness mojo back yet.
However 2021 is a year I really need to focus on losing weight. I am the unhappiest I have ever been with both my weight loss and my fitness levels and have also decided that should they go ahead, I’d like to do some charity walks/runs in memory of the people we’ve lost this year.
