When we found out that Peppa Pig would be appearing at our local shopping centre, Jack was extremely eager to go and see her. However he is now at that awkward age between baby and school age child – babies don’t generally tend to notice that it is someone dressed up in a Peppa Pig costume. Older children know but don’t usually care.
Jack was so excited to see her but when it came to having his picture taken, he started freaking out. He loves having his picture taken so I knew it wasn’t that – he didn’t want to look at Peppa Pig or give her a hug. He told me later it was because she was ‘big’ and that ‘someone was in Peppa’.
As you can see from the above pictures, Jack really did not like his experience with Peppa Pig and that’s no ones fault. I just wondered if it was a common thing for his age group? Can anyone shed any light on this?

I have quite a few photos of my nephew just like this, he’s ok from a distance but up close he panics, think its fairly normal 🙂
