Started by Ariel Ward, the 8 photos of happiness tag is something I have been seeing around quite a lot recently. Since I love doing tags, I thought I would give this one a go! I was reading someone’s post where they tagged everyone (I think it was Jenny) so here goes:

This is one of the only pictures of us that my partner actually likes (probably because you can barely see him). I love it because it was the first time I had taken him to a family event, this was for my cousin’s 40th.
I have countless photos of Jack as a newborn and some done professionally by the Bounty lady who came round but I love this one the most, a picture I took in my sleepy haze. I caught an infection during labour so ended up sleeping quite a lot for the first week of Jack’s life (apart from feeding him – Steve was invaluable during that time, he really did so much!), so this picture from about an hour after Jack was born is one of my favourites.
With Jack turning FOUR soon, I had to include this one from his first birthday. He is completely baffled by the birthday cake but he just looks so adorable.
This one really makes me chuckle and always puts a smile on my face. He was such a poser for the camera when he was younger.
How could I not include this one? This picture makes me happy because just look how perfect he is. I made that.
I had to include this one of some of my blogging ladies. Without blogging I wouldn’t have met them (although I did originally meet Tanya and Lou on FB). I know I can always turn to them, they’re a good bunch.
If I’m sharing pictures of Jack, its only fair I share the picture from when I got engaged in Rome (read all about the proposal here). This means so much to me as it is obviously such an important moment in my life.
Finally (and it isn’t the most flattering as we had all had quite a few drinks by this point – see 5 Ways To Survive Your Best Friend’s Hen Night for what you really should and shouldn’t do), I had to include a picture of my best friends hen night. Michelle and Alice are two of my oldest friends and this is one of my favourite pictures of us regardless, as it shows we had a great time.

What a lovely idea, I think it’s a great way to make us focus on what makes us happy when it can be so easy to be distracted by simply living our everyday lives.
