Having never really been one for beauty boxes, August was a little different. After seeing a few good offers for certain boxes and being tempted by other bloggers, I put an order in for a few different ones including what I am going to show you today – the Beauteco box.
This is mainly just a first impressions post at the moment as I ordered and received this towards the tail end of August and haven’t had very long to try everything out. I took everything in the box away with me over the past weekend to see what I thought.
Beauteco are different in the sense that they give you three different boxes to choose from which usually only differ by one product. It took much deliberation but I opted for Box 2 which included:
Arran Aromatics Lavender & Tea Tree Facial Wash in full size
Lord & Berry Intensity Lipstick Peach Gleam in full size
Lord & Berry Kissproof Lip Pencil Colour Blossom in full size
S5 Calm Serum in sample size
Melvita Orange Blossom Water in sample size
I am yet to try the facial wash or lip pencil as I was actually trying out other products at the same time however I did try everything else. I am loving the S5 Calm Serum – yell at me if you will but it is only recently that I have been using a serum in my routine and whilst I have only used this a few times, I have seen some difference in my skin. I do have other serums to work through and am also currently on a spending ban – however, I can see myself purchasing the full size in the future. The Melvita Orange Blossom Water is a weird one for me – I felt refreshed after using it but the scent at times was a little overpowering for me. Finally, the Lord & Berry Intensity lipstick in Peach Gleam – I’m not a big fan of this if I’m quite honest. I really wanted to like it and the shade is something I’d definitely buy myself. I did feel like this was quite moisturising and the shade was perfect however the longevity of this really annoyed me. I applied it and it had all but disappeared an hour later without any eating or drinking occurring. I’d expect a little more last time for such a hyped brand.
