As you can probably tell, I am slowly working my way through my goody bag from the #julylondonmeetup and testing out every single product. Whilst I won’t be reviewing everything within, I do want to share my thoughts with you on a few different products, today being the Look Beauty Lip Smoothie.
Described as a luscious lip scrub for ultra-soft lips, I was super excited to find this in the bag as I had only tweeted about needing a good lip scrub a day or two before. A lot of people had recommended the Lush scrubs to me and I had resigned myself to picking that up, however I was reasonably restrained and neglected to do so – lo and behold, this little thing came into my life.
It comes in packaging which I would say is quite cute, pale pink and black which wouldn’t look out of place anywhere. The application of this is great, it is dispensed from something akin to a lipgloss tube which is fantastic – the Lush scrubs come in a little tub from which you have to dig out the product by hand – this, however, makes application smooth and not so messy. I like to apply this in the evenings before doing my evening skincare routine and every now and again before applying lipsticks. Some lip scrubs I have tried in the past have been extremely gritty with large lumps of sugar, however this has just the right sized grains which makes it a pleasure to use. It has a slight minty taste and scent which for mint lovers like me is great; however if you’re not so keen, I’d perhaps steer clear.
This lip scrub is definitely worth it and I am sure to repurchase in the future as it leaves my lips feeling so much better! I’m just gutted that I am on a spending ban right now which means I can’t take advantage of the fab offer the Look Beauty website are currently offering! This usually retails at £5 but right now, they are offering it for just £2.50! You can buy it here!

I read you review of love your lips. I like the gentle exfoliant from this cute pink tube and the moisturization factor.
It is fab!
I tend to just make my own lip scrubs at home with honey or olive oil and some sugar! Great review, though! xx
I really should start making my own!
