I’ll be honest, I probably don’t use foot cream as often as I should do. My feet are the one thing that I always forget about when it comes to pampering and preening myself – I’ll spend ages pampering myself only to realise I haven’t done anything to my feet. When I do remember, I love nothing more than slathering them in some foot cream and then putting on some warm fluffy socks and settling down to watch a film.
You can certainly smell the peppermint when it comes to this foot cream – it is noticeable as soon as you open the bottle! Held in fairly simple but sturdy packaging, the cream is quite thick as you would expect of a foot cream and soaks in nicely. I really need to take more care of my feet and this foot cream is definitely going to the top of my repurchase list.
The foot cream is available here for £12 for the full size version.
The package I received also contained a little lip balm, the lime flavour. Lime isn’t necessarily a flavour of lip balm that I would pick for myself, despite liking it. It has never occurred to me that this would work as a lip balm flavour until now. Whilst it is best to use it sparingly (the scent and taste are really strong and can be a little in your face), I’ve found this lip balm to really moisturise my lips – which, after all, is what it is designed for. The flavour certainly adds a zing and wakes me up in the morning – I actually keep this balm on my desk rather than taking it out and about with me as it is the perfect thing to perk me up if I’m flagging during work hours.
The lip balm is available here for £2.50 for a tub.
I was super excited to try Alison Claire after seeing the numerous rave reviews and it is easy to see why they are so popular – partnering natural products with some fantastic scent and flavour combos is certainly a winner for me!
