CityGrips: What Every Mum Needs

Myself and Jack were recently given the opportunity to review some Citygrips by Choopie. Even though this isn’t something you’d normally see on here, these are definitely a must have when it comes to pushchair accessories for us. Jack has had the same pushchair now since his birth – this one can have the car seat attached to make it a rearward facing pushchair then that can be removed when they are too old to make it a forward facing pushchair. We bought this as soon as we found out we were pregnant and it was a spur of the moment thing – it seemed like a good deal. However, I do slightly regret the choice now not least because of the wear and tear.

After two years of constant use, the handles are less than perfect and look awful! Having pretty little whales adorning them seemed like a much better option for me! There was also another slightly selfish reason too – when it is raining, the handles feel so slimy and disgusting, it sometimes puts me off going out in the rain unless I absolutely need to. Jack would obviously have his rain cover but me? I’d have to brave it, yucky hands and all! 

These Citygrips actually cover the handles well and seem to be very absorbent – I have tried them in different weather conditions and the rain just seems to disappear – the grips don’t feel wet in the slightest and funnily enough, stay ‘grippy’ to the handles!
