Radical Skincare Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads

Skincare is a very personal subject – no one person can say that something will be a wonder product for everyone nor can they say it will be awful for them. Everyone has a product they love that others hate and vice versa. When it comes to road testing skincare items (whether bought for myself or sent for review), I like to test them for around a month to let them do their magic.

There is a lot of debate when it comes to when people should start using anti-ageing products. I am soon going to be 24 and whilst that isn’t old by any means, I am not exactly a spring chicken either – I wish I had the figure and skin I had when I was 18 but alas, it just isn’t to be. So when I was sent these Radical Skincare Age Defying Exfoliating Pads, I thought it would be a great start in keeping to an anti-ageing regime.

Exfoliating is one of those things I sometimes miss out of my skincare routine – naughty I know! Sometimes I just can’t be bothered faffing around for a while with lots of different tubes. Cleanse, serum, moisturise and eye cream is the rule when I am having a case of the can’t be bothered. However, exfoliating pads was a new concept to me so I was interested to see what they were like.

You simply need one pad for your face, neck and decollete – the tub comes with 60 pre-moistened, single use pads so it is really as simple as a few swipes over your face – much easier than fumbling with a load of tubes!

The product claims to remove dull, dead skin and reduce crow’s feet by 50% in two weeks. I can certainly testify that the pads did make my skin look and feel smoother and more radiant but I am unsure on the crow’s feet part. This may be because I am only just starting to get them – so perhaps I will notice more of a difference in the coming weeks!

Whilst these definitely made my skin feel and look better, I am unsure if I would repurchase. I am yet to see the true extent of the anti-ageing benefits and I find the price a little high for what I would normally spend on skincare – this tub retails for £45 for 60 pads here. However, they come in the most beautiful packaging as you can see above – definitely add a touch of glamour and quality! -, do make my skin feel better and are much more practical than tons of tubes.

I’m torn! Have you ever tried exfoliating pads?
