I have another post going up later today/this evening which is all about my stay at Bluestone but I wanted to have a little chat about things as it seems I have fallen victim to what they would call sod’s law.
Struggled all last month to pay bills after waiting weeks for payment from freelance work to come through? Check. Now our static caravan has been sold and I have been paid and work is starting to roll in…never complain about work as I need it but…really?
Have a haircut for the first time in ages, decide I like it in the salon, get out and decide I am not such a fan and decide to change it? Check. Now that I want to change my hair colour, everyone is telling me how much they like the cut and my natural hair colour…really? You all kept telling me to dye it and keep it long before!
Finally getting back into reading – I’m either busy with work or family and never see my friends because they are never around. Check. Now all my friends want to see me…as soon as I have some free me time and when they haven’t wanted to in forever.
Had items on my wishlist for updating Jack’s bedroom for months and know exactly how I want it. Check. Guess what? I can’t find the majority of it anymore now that I have the money …back to the drawing board I guess.
Do you ever end up in situations like this? I’m not complaining about seeing friends or having work or even being complimented..but do you ever feel like someone is playing a trick on you when you finally sort out your own mess – only for a potential solution to crop up when you no longer need it?

yes most definitely! it does get annoying at how perfectly timed things can get
Yep I know exactly what you mean, same thing happening with me on the friends front. It gets really annoying but this world is a funny place lol x
This happens to me too. I really wanted to go on a course, waited until I had the money, went to book and there were no places left 🙁
Yep this happens to me too. Sometimes I wait so long for the 'right time' that I actually forget what it is that I am waiting for or I change my mind!
I always do that – plan to buy things then lose the list!
This happens quite a lot. I now look at it like if it was meant to be then it would happen, but it's taken ages for me to get to thinking like that.
Ha! good at losing my lists too!
Yep, sounds a bit like my life too. Great post
Sods law is the best, but you can sometimes use it to your advantage.
For example, when I used to smoke and was waiting for the bus, I would light up and then the bus would come. Worked every time 😉

That's the way it always works isn't it?! Swings and roundabouts!! 🙂
Most of the time! Such is life.
I think things always happen at once tbh! x
Everything happens for a reason! I always go from being really busy to having nothing on but I often need the break!
I often find this is the case, I like to try cosmic ordering and see if that works, you know putting it out there to the universe, it's worth a try x
