I don’t know about you but sometimes I get so bored and don’t know what to do. Don’t get me wrong, there are probably some simple menial tasks I could get on with but sometimes you just don’t want to, right?
My free time is very rare – at the moment, I have Hannah with me pretty much all the time so I’m either working, doing housework, doing school runs and school related meetings or I’m dealing with baby related stuff. But before Hannah, there were some little pockets of time I would find where I didn’t have anything to do (or at least had nothing I wanted to do, haha!).
I thought I’d share three things to do when you are feeling bored. I do these quite regularly and I bet plenty of you do too! Let us know if you do these!
Pamper Yourself
Why not treat yourself to some me time? The person who can treat you best is you and whether you are a woman looking to get her hair done, a facial or even a massage is perfect. You might even be able to find your own aesthetic equipment if you click here.
You don’t even need to go out. It is super easy to pamper yourself at home by running a hot bubble bath, dropping a luxurious bath bomb in and perhaps putting on a face mask or two? Pampering yourself doesn’t need to be expensive and you can simply just settle down with a good book if that’s what you prefer?
Update Your Home
I love making updates to my home whether that is by redecorating the walls or by changing the items within it. We have been in this home since the end of November and we have already moved the living room around about three times – moving certain items in and taking others out. SunPan.com offers some awesome products and some great ideas that I am definitely going to be incorporating the next time I update things in my house.
Check Out Your Education Or Career Options
Sometimes I like to look to see what further education options there are available to me and look at the different careers out there. Whilst I am currently satisfied with where I am at, I do always look to see what roles there are such as hotel logistics management that may benefit me more financially or make me happier.
If you like improving yourself and/or need to make a change in your education or career, why not spend the time where you are bored researching your options?
These are just a few tips for things to do when you are bored. It is true what our parents say – no one is ever truly bored; there is always something we can do to break up the monotony and give us something to do. Sometimes we are simply just procrastinating and putting off those really menial and boring tasks!
What things do you do when you are bored to keep you occupied? We would love to hear your suggestions!
