I am still catching up with my reading challenge posts (I am now on book 33!) but reading this post, you will realise I hit my reading challenge target of 25 books! I only set a minimal target because I had an awful reading year last year but I’ve now smashed it and have no plans on stopping.
So what were the books 21-25 that I read?
The Hashtag Killer by A.S French – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)

I guessed the ending just before it was revealed and boy, was it a shocker! I had an inkling that all was not as it seemed but the way Jen put it together was amazing and fantastic police work. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely read more from the author in the future. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
Prisoner by Ross Greenwood – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)
My full review can be read here. I found the character of Jim very easily led by the females in his life – working in the male side of the prison, he was fine – but the woman’s side is where things started to unravel. I got really annoyed with his wife and how she acted with him – she seemed to moan that they didn’t have enough money – whilst not working herself- whilst also moaning that he was working all the time to make money!
I much preferred reading about when he was at work rather than at home and overall this was a good read. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
Every Little Breath by Keri Beevis – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)
Another one where you can read the full review here. This kept me gripped all the way to the end. This book is full of twists and turns and you can never be too sure what will happen next. I had an inkling but was soon moved away from that idea! I will definitely be reading more from this author. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
A Thousand Goodbyes: The Surprising Life of a Funeral Celebrant by Ruth Graham – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)
An interesting non-fiction book talking about the author’s life as a funeral celebrant. In the same vein as This Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay, this tells the tale of some truly weird and wonderful people. Read my full review here. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
The Borrow A Bookshop Holiday by Kiley Dunbar – 5/5 (Copy sent for review)
Who doesn’t love a bookshop? The concept of this sounded right up my street – going on holiday to run a bookshop for a week, why not? The main character is running away from her horrible life back home but what is in store for her at the bookshop? I really enjoyed this hence the five stars and you can read the full review here. You have done well reading so many books, I’ve read a few but need to read more so adding A Thousand Goodbyes to my reading list. This sounds like a book I would love to read myself.
I think I’ve managed 5 books this year, I’m still on Nos4a2 at the moment. I’m getting better with audiobooks try and do 30 minutes at night with my mask on but it’s so slow going! I’m going to have to see if any of these are on audiable.
When it comes to books reading challenge, I am pathetic! I read only two books last year Well, the story of Every Little Breath by Keri Beevis sounds great to me, will check it out first!

I would like to read the Borrow a Bookshop Holiday, it sounds like a great book for the beach. I have been reading quite a bit lately. This month I finished A walk on the wild edge written by Jake Tyler, a guy I actually hosted through Couchsurfing years ago, who walked along Britain. Now I am reading His Dark Materials.
