We were sent a collectable Marvel Battle Ball for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
We are big Marvel fans in our house, Jack and Steve especially. Funko and Marvel have collaborated to bring out a fun new first-of-a-kind toy range which combines exclusive collectable Marvel figures with a brand new tabletop game. These Marvel Battleworld Battle Balls retail at £6.99 with it costing £17.99 for a mega pack.
Not only can you collect your favourite Marvel heroes from Iron Man to Groot and unleash them in battle against Thanos but you also get characters from deeper in the universe such as Spider-Ham! That’s right, the Battle Ball comes with two collectable characters. It also contains Hero cards, Battle cards and one dice.
So who did we get and what did we think?
We cracked open our ball and who did we find inside but…. Beta Ray Bill!
I must admit that I didn’t know who he was so had to look him up!
Jack had great fun playing the game and seeing which hero was contained within the mysterious and elusive Thanostone rock! He was super excited to see that we did in fact have Iron Man!
The game seems a little complicated at first but once you get the jist, you can really get into it. Use your heroes and their unique special abilities to help you mount your attack and battle away. Roll the die to attack and once you win three battles, you achieve complete victory!
There are thirty heroes to collect with two in each ball! It is a wonderful surprise seeing which heroes you get and Jack really loved the unboxing element of this toy.
Available to purchase in Tesco stores, Smyths Toy Superstores and Asda, I can definitely see these being popular with Marvel fans, both kids and adults alike. These would make a great stocking filler or Christmas present with the festive season rapidly approaching – I know we will definitely be getting more for Jack to see if he can complete the set! He can’t wait to do battle!

These look great and like lots of fun! It is nice to see some of these surprise toys being aimed at boys as lots of them are very girly etc although obviously us girls love Marvel too! It sounds like Jack had great fun and these look like perfect stocking filler gifts too!
How great that they come with 2 collectable figures in the battle balls! And the hero cards look like great fun too, definitely something my little one would enjoy.
