Life In A Lockdown {Linky} – Week 12

This post contains affiliate links.

It has been 12 weeks since we started this linky series – that seems absolutely bonkers! It seems like just yesterday Sarah came to me with the concept and I said yes, let’s do this. Credit goes to Jenni from Lyrical Host {affiliate link} too as she kickstarted the idea!

So how has my week gone? Let’s see!

1) How are you feeling/coping?

I am doing ok – kept myself distracted on Sunday due to it being Father’s Day but other than that, okay. I also caught up on my sleep yesterday which was very much needed!

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied?

Working, reading, looking after the kids, the pup and the rats – the usual, you know!

3) How are you dealing with everything at the moment – are you self-isolated, going out for essentials etc? Has this changed?

I am fed up of it all!

4) What advice do you have for others?

Stay safe! Be responsible!

5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.

I actually can’t think of anything!

6) How has your routine been this week? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

The usual, it has been okay but not completely set in stone.

7) Have you planned anything for once lockdown is over in the past 7 days?? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

Nope. I think I am all planned out!

How about you? What have you been up to this week? Don’t forget to link up with us with your answers!

I feel the same when it comes to routine. I have some idea of my routine, but it is never set in stone and things always comes up which means that I have to be flexible!

  2. I think lockdown has got to all of us, it is just groundhog day every day. Hopefully with everything being unrestricted we will be able to enjoy more freedom, as long as everyone keeps safety in mind

  3. I did the exact same with Mother’s day, just refused to acknowledge it in anyway and I found it helped. I hope Sunday was OK for you.

I am feeling the groundhog kinda feeling this week, although the thought of doing anything is also more than I can cope with! I am back at work now though so life is somewhat more normal.

I hope next week is a good one for you x

  4. I think having a routine and adding in exercise, and free time plus a work routine really helps me to keep sane. I am back at work from 1st July so making most of last few free days.

  5. Sending you big hugs! I can’t imagine what the weekend was like for you – good job you have lots to keep you company! Hope your enjoying be able to see friends and family more too!

  6. to be honest, since lockdown nothing as really changed that much for me. Apart from having the kids at home. They are starting to get on my nerves now and I wish they was in school

We too are still on lockdown, although a few restrictions have been lifted. This week, I bought a tray of baked sushi. It was my daughter’s best friend who makes it. We always support young entrepreneurs and small businesses. It gives them the motivation to keep going!

  8. Melanie williams says:

I hear you on the catching up on sleep…sometimes it is just what you need to get back on track for sure xx

  9. It has been a busy week for us with 3 birthdays and fathers day plus work. Other than that, not much change

  10. We are fed up and we have hit a brick wall with home schooling. Hopefully we can pick it back up next week.

  11. We are slowly changing our routine, like this week I could not get kids to do any work indoors so we have been outdoors and have applied for my daughter to go back to school. I think we are all getting bored of staying in at the moment as well

  12. I completely agree, people should be safe and responsible. Sadly, some are not. School just finished here so we don’t have daily video chats, which my son is missing terribly already.

  13. Life in a lockdown it is not so easy. The lockdown period was also so difficult for me. I had my daily program. However, this period has been passed and I try to adjust myself to the new reality.

  14. I feel the same when it comes to routine. I need to have some idea of my routine. I don’t do well with change to be honest x

  15. Life in a lockdown can be hard to adjust to but I prefer being at home and staying safe. I’ve been busy with my little ones so it’s quite hectic at home still but it’s fun of course.
