I recently introduced you to Ash and Pikachu in my post, Some New Additions To The Family so thought it was only fair to introduce you to someone else! This is Buddy, he is nine weeks old and he is our Dalmatian puppy!

We picked him up last week and he has settled into our home so well already. He was a little unsure on the first night but quickly found his feet and has become very attached to us very quickly. Steve works in a school but had a couple of days off when we first got Buddy to get him used to his surroundings. Well, Steve’s first day back at work was very confusing for Buddy and he kept looking round the house for him! He got super excited when Steve got home but then sulked after a while, basically ignoring Steve because he’d dared to leave the house, haha!
He’s already booked in with the vets for his puppy check-up and his next set of vaccinations and he is so playful and fun! He can be quite nippy as he’s a puppy and discovering what his teeth can do, he can also get you good with his paws when playing but it’s all completely normal. He is all about his food and will get under your feet when you are preparing his meals, much like all other dogs!

He loves playing with us, he loves his toys and he loves a snooze, whether that is in his bed or on one of us. He has grown particularly attached to a particular seat on our sofa and will lay by it or get up on it if he can. If someone is sitting there, he will lay across them!
He is sleeping fairly well – he naps throughout the day but sleeps well at night. We tend to get up every four hours or so with him to take him to the toilet and he will definitely let us know when he needs it!
We can’t wait until we can take him out for walks – he is so eager to get outside that he is always trying to escape whenever we get deliveries! I can’t wait to keep you updated on all his escapades.
Do you have any pets?
If you are thinking about getting a puppy, here are 5 things you should consider before getting a dog.

Oh he is absolutely stunning. It’s so true that a dog makes a home.
Oh he is gorgeous, I love dalmations, I had to laugh at him sulking when Steve came home, we had a St Bernard that would do that to my Dad. I have an Alaskan Malamute and a German Shepherd so never a dull moment in our house
Oh my goodness! Absolutely adorable. I bet it is like having a new baby. We have a noisy cat that I am allergic to, so once the old man is no longer with us, he will be our last pet.
I would love a dog when I retire though, I am trying to convince my Dad to get one but he’s not having it at all!
Enjoy your new man x
Oh he’s adorable! There are a couple of Dalmatian dogs when we walk around our local area and my children love seeing them 🙂
AWWWW Buddy is so cute. I really want a dog but we cannot commit at the minute. He is super cute and would be a perfect addition to any family xx
He’s a total cutie, I’d love a dog too, so as soon as we get a house – hopefully soon – we’ll get a shelter doggie.
Oh my goodness he is absolutely adorable!! Aaagh, we keep talking about getting a dog and it’s post like this that make me feel almost desperate too. Have fun with your new addition!
Oh Buddy is adorable, our puppy Sonja has just turned 19 weeks old and has got to the very mischievous chewing stage! I’d recommend getting lots of toys and rotating them so they always keep his interest x
Oh my goodness, he is just adorable. Hope you have lots of fun adventures with him
