November 2019 Goal Recap

As we are almost at the end of the month, I thought I had best share a recap of how I got on with my November goals. I only had a few so let’s see if I managed them..

  • Pay as much towards the credit card as possible – I’ve paid an extra £40 to it on top of minimum payment. I would have liked to have paid more but I’m still waiting on quite a few things to come in.
  • Get meal planning again – I have meal planned some of the month but we have been so busy that this has yet again fallen by the wayside.
  • Get some presents sorted  – Jack is pretty much sorted for his birthday presents and I’ve got a few things each for the kids for Christmas too! Now just to think about Olivia’s birthday!
  • Sort out Jack’s birthday – Still trying to get him to decide and it is next weekend! Think it is just going to be a meal!
  • Read the four books I’ve got outstanding on Netgalley and write reviews for them – I’m halfway through the second one – I have just been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to read.
  • Take advantage of my free two month Kindle Unlimited trial – Nope nope nope. As above, I haven’t had the chance to read and obviously want to get through the review copies I have first.

Overall, this month was half and half in terms of success or failure. Here’s hoping for a better month next month! How did you get on with your November goals?

  1. It wasn’t a total disaster and as we all know this is a busy time with so much going on, luckily all birthdays are done now so can start looking towards christmas x

  2. I paid my credit card off this month, it feels so good to make a good dent in it or clear it, doesn’t it

  3. MELANIE EDJOURIAN says:

It helps when there are not too many goals. It gets stressful otherwise. Hope you got Olivias gifts sorted.

  4. Rhian westbury says:

I think we’re all a bit harsh on ourselves at this time of the year as there’s a lot going on. I can’t believe you have so many birthdays around Christmas too x

  5. MARIA ROGERS says:

I think it is important to set goals, I always have a daily to do list, especially if you are at home all day as it is easy to get distracted

  6. It sounds like you have had a good month! I haven’t had much time to read either in November but I was focusing on NaNoWriMo and managed to complete it so I am feeling accomplished right now!

  7. It can be difficult to achieve goals when busy life gets in the way. Must be hard having birthdays do close to Christmas, I don’t envy you.

  8. Well done – you have made a start, at least! Even paying off £40 on the credit card bill is an achievement.

  9. I’ve almost done all my Christmas shopping now. Just one present left to buy my mum and something for him indoors!

  10. Lynda Graham says:

    I admire your determination.
I have my To Do lists always and prioritise tasks. I stay as organised as is possible mainly with finances.

  11. YOLANDA DAVIS says:

I try to keep on top of my ‘Things to do’ list, but it doesn’t always go to plan.

  12. Aw I hope you’re able to get the birthday party sorted. Maybe give an ultimatum- decide or no party! xxx

  13. I’ve managed to check a few as well. I’m just happy we have this list that we can check regularly to see if we have have achieved what we would have wanted every month. Great job on yours.

  14. It sounds like you are making great progress on lots of your goals. I really do need to start getting organised for Christmas too, I am pretty much sorted for my daughter but my son is a bit older now and much harder to buy for! Your post has inspired me to start making some monthly goals for myself so thanks!
