Up until a few months ago, Jack wasn’t too interested in being read to. He’d much rather sit there with a book himself, poring over the pictures and fidgeting around if being read to. However as the months have rolled on, he has really started to love being read to and his book collection has grown exponentially to show that.
He really likes well illustrated books – most of his books have bright and interesting pictures – so when given the opportunity to review a beautifully illustrated personalised book from Wonderous Ink for just £19.99, we accepted.
The Wonderous World Of Jack is a beautiful book which tells the tale of your child – the story will be exactly tailored to their name. Written in rhyme, it is easy to read and to follow. Jack happens to meet a variety of people along his travels including an astronaut, a King, a juggler and more! He helps each of them with their problems and they all describe him as something – the juggler describes him as jolly!
What I love about personalised books is that it really makes the child feel involved. Although Jack knows how to spell his name already, I can also see it being beneficial in helping children to spell their names too.
Jack is described throughout the book as Jolly, Amazing, Clever and Kind. I like this too as whatever the child’s age group, it makes them feel good about themselves. They’re fully immersed in a story about themselves and get to imagine themselves doing all these amazing things – what’s not to love?
An extra touch which I really loved and appreciated was the special keycode at the back – this enables children to find out more about their story and do more on the website. Each child gets their own special keycode too.
These are definitely great gifts to get any child in your life, they are sure to be appreciated. Do you buy personalised items as gifts at all?
