I’m setting this to go live at the exact time Jack was born three years ago. It seems absolutely crazy that the tiny little baby I gave birth to in 2011 is now a walking, talking, energetic bundle of personality who loves cuddles with his Mummy and play fighting with his Daddy.
This year has really seen him come into his own – his speech is incredible and he knows quite a lot. I always have people compliment me on how bright he is. He is good at sharing and loves other children and animals. He has a few select favourite adults too – including our gardener (a family friend), the postman (again, a family friend) and the people in the shops – probably because they sell Kinder Eggs!
He’s off to nursery in January which is both exciting and petrifying for me! But it means I have more time to do work so small mercies and all that – he can go and have fun whilst I chain myself to my desk.
Here’s to another great year with my beautiful boy.
