We were sent our monthly Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Just before Christmas, we received our December Degustabox filled with lots of stuff for us to enjoy. A Degustabox usually costs just £12.99 per month, much less than the value of the contents. So what can you expect to receive in your box this month? As a reminder, I get sent all of the items available across the boxes (you have boxes without alcohol and boxes with and sometimes there are special items from a particular brand – different boxes will receive 1 of so many but as a reviewer, I generally receive all of the items from that brand).
Robinsons Fruit Creations- £1.99
We are big fans of Robinsons in our house and this new Fruit Creations contains twice the fruit and has more juicy and fruitier flavours. We received the delicious pear, blackcurrant & cherry flavour – all of us were big fans!
Planters Protein Mix & Energy Mix – £1.29 each
We love nut snacks and at Planters, they only use the most delicious nuts. These went down a treat!
Willies Cacao Black Pearls – £6.59
These are the product of the month and these are pearls of single estate chocolate containing cascades of molten caramel. They have two flavours – Sea Salt Caramel in fruity Chulucanas 70 dark chocolate and Passion Fruit Caramel in Rio Caribe 44 milk chocolate. These are 100% natural. We received the Sea Salt Caramel flavour and these are tasty, very moreish although more than one or two at a time can be too much.
Coldpress Orange Juice – £1.50
These are made using coldpressure HPP (high pressure processing). Steve drank this and found it absolutely delicious.
Mary Berry’s Foods Lemon & Mustard Seed Vinaigrette
This is a versatile zesty vinaigrette. We don’t usually use vinaigrettes so are popping this into our local food bank.
San Miguel 0.0% – £3
This is an alcohol free beer. It has all the flavour, freshness and quality of the alcoholic version. This has been popped into the fridge for when Steve next fancies it.
Sleep Well – £1.75
Jack will be drinking this tonight – it is a vanilla milk drink which combines Jersey milk with honey and valerian. You simply drink it hot or cold thirty minutes before you want to sleep.
Lift Matcha Instant Green Tea
We received this as an extra in the box – and this tea is lovely!
Ryvita Lightly Salted Rye Cakes – £1.39
We received similar in a recent box and I mentioned then that we don’t eat these so will be popping these into our local food bank.
Taking The Pea Smoked Ham Flavour – £1.50
These are the UK’s first Great Taste Award winning grab and go range of savoury pea snacks. These have more protein than crisps and less fat than nuts. However we have tried these before and weren’t big fans so are donating these to the foodbank too.
Popchips Galactic Puffs – £1.99
Jack was very excited to see these. They are a light and airy snack in Star Wars shapes. These are full of flavour and the whole family loved them.
Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweets – £3
These sour pineapple sweets are gluten free and tasty, full of natural colours and flavours. Everyone loved these!
For £12.99, this box is a total bargain, especially when you consider the product of the month makes up half of the price! All in all, this comes to £27.78 for all the products, how amazing!
