Shopping can be ever so stressful sometimes, especially if you have children in tow. I just want to get in, get what I need and get out but inevitably that doesn’t always go to plan. I tend to go to big shopping centres; usually my most local one but occasionally go to one a little further afield. These hold plenty of shops, just like www.liverpool-one.com, where I can get everything I need all in the same space. But what are my hassle free shopping tips to make sure your shopping trip doesn’t leave you stressed? Read on!
Plan Ahead
If you know you need specific things, plan ahead and know your plan of action from as soon as you step foot into the shopping centre. Only visit the shops you need to, getting what you need and try to avoid being distracted. If you plan instead of walking around aimlessly, you will find the whole experience a lot easier as you can be in and out in a short amount of time.
Limit Your Budget
Only take a certain amount of cash or use a card that only has a small amount of money on it – I move money into another account for shopping and that way I cannot go over my budget. If you know roughly what money you will need and limit yourself in accordance to that, you are less likely to splurge on unwanted items and then feel rubbish about your purchases by the time you get home. This saves you money and time.
Find Cheap Parking
Some parking costs a fortune but we’ve found a car park that not only has a designated floor for parent and child spaces but it is also quite cheap to park in. The town the other side of our village costs double, sometimes even triple the cost of this car park! Do your research and find where you can park easily and for as little as possible. Getting yourself parked in a good spot that doesn’t cost too much will only add to your #UltimateShoppingExperience
Keep Your Receipts
Once you’ve got home, file away your receipts just in case you need to take an item back. There is nothing worse than realising an item is not fit for purpose and having binned or lost the receipt. By keeping them in the same place until the 28 days runs out, you know that should you need to return the item, the receipt will be there for you to take with you.
These are my top tips for a stress free shopping experience – what would yours be?
