HayMax Kids Review & Giveaway

I have suffered from hayfever for many years now and have recently been showing signs of pet allergies as shown when visiting my friends flat who has cats. Last year Jack started showing signs of having hayfever too so when offered the chance to review Haymax Kids, I quickly took them up on the offer. I was intrigued to see how something claiming to be organic, drug free and with no drowsy side effects would work on Jack as his symptoms slowly start to arrive – and I have even been testing it out myself!

HayMax Kids

review

We have only been using this for a little over a week so far and whilst Jack’s symptoms aren’t that severe, I have noticed a little difference when it comes to him. It will be interesting to see how his symptoms develop as we go further into Spring or Summer but I am happy to keep using this on him as a preventative to hopefully stop them developing further. His slight sniffles have all but gone (which is fantastic) and I’m hoping it stays that way.

I am yet to try the other HayMax products but since we have been trialling the HayMax Kids in our household, I thought I would give it a go too and then progress to the others if required. I hate taking tablets for my hayfever but what I hate even worse – those nasal sprays! When I was pregnant with Jack and couldn’t take the tablets, I felt like I was in living hell. I was almost prepared to live with my intense hayfever symptoms than take the medication as I hated it that much.

A balm seems much more up my street – no tablets or nasal sprays in sight – and this is suitable from birth (brilliant!), drug free with no steroids or antihistamines (interesting!) and super easy to use. I have been applying around both mine and Jack’s nostrils first thing in the morning and then applying as and when I feel we need it – Jack is okay with once a day, myself twice. The balm claims to trap allergens before they get into your body and whilst my hayfever symptoms aren’t that bad yet (they get worse as we move into May/June for me), I have been visiting my friends flat with this applied and I am having nowhere near the reaction I would normally have – got to be a bonus, right?

I am happy to keep using this as a preventative for both of us and am even considering picking up one of the other versions – aloe vera, lavender, pure or frankincense. I am definitely intrigued by them!

Haymax Kids retails at £6.99 a pot and can be purchased from Holland & Barrett; selected Boots; independent chemists, pharmacists and health stores; on 01525 406600 and from haymax.biz upon its launch in April 2016.
