Having surveyed 2000 people across the country, they were shocked to find out that less than half of that 2000 (41%) are serviced annually. Seven percent had never been serviced! Regular services are essential for your safety and keeping yourself protected from carbon monoxide.
Almost one in two homes in the UK still don’t have a carbon monoxide detector alarm fitted, according to research. With stories in the media of tragedies involving carbon monoxide poisoning becoming ever more common, this really needs to change.

We always have the boiler checked. When we first bought this house the old baxi boiler was leaking carbon monoxide. We only found out because it set off the carbon monoxide detector. It scared me a bit really.

I am glad to say that we get our boiler checked annually, and we have a CO alarm. However I would like to get one for my daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughter, who are in rented accommodation and therefore reliant on the landlord to check the boiler.
