I’m Participating in NaNoWriMo 2015!

That’s right, I’ve taken the plunge and I am participating in NaNoWriMo 2015. As it stands I have written 1671 words so far and am heading in a completely different direction from where I originally intended. If you don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month where people aim to write 50,000 words in a month. It is going to be tough but I am up for the challenge.

It helps that I also have some blogging buddies participating too – Louise from Inspire Magazine and Dannie from Famous In Japan. I’m hoping they can keep me accountable throughout the month and I them.

Are you participating? If so, add me as a buddy. You can find me here.

  7. I write a lot as I am a journalist, human rights campaigner and blogger but even 50,000 words is a stretch for me. Good luck I know you can do it!

  8. Oh that is a huge challenge! I love a blog challenge but this would finish me off right now! Good Luck, you can do it! Kaz x

  9. I’ve tried NaNoWriMo a few times but never very successfully, haha! Last year I decided to try to achieve the word count, but with blog posts. I was poorly for 2 days and it all went to pot – Oops! Good luck! x

  10. I really wanted to participate in this but I just don’t have the time this year! Really hope you manage to make some good progress on your novel 🙂

  11. whoop, whoop – me too!! have you heard of novlr? i’ve started using it as it’s distraction free writing tool and charts how many words you need to do per day etc to get your book done. the only thing i’m doing that’s different is that i’m not writing a fiction, i’m using it as a way of getting my bum in the seat and writing my book about time management (the irony) 😀

  12. Good luck. I would love to take part in NaNoWriMo some year.

  13. I wish I could do that! 🙁 I am so busy its really impossible to do so! I love the idea so much! Best of luck!I really want to read it after!
