Weight Loss Diary #23

So I’m a day late with my weight loss diary (again…) but I am here and ready to confess. It was not a good week! I’ve been all over the place. I started the week off with good intentions and was eating lots of speed food, drinking lots of water, getting lots of walking back in and keeping completely within my daily syns, not even going near the higher end.

Then things went to pot and so did my eating and walking. Jack got poorly on Thursday night and spent Thursday night until Monday afternoon pretty much attached to me. This, of course, meant no school run so no walking to get in and since I didn’t have much time or room to cook with a four year old hanging off me, eating habits also went out of the window as Steve was working all weekend. I barely slept for the majority of the weekend so I wanted every chocolate thing in sight and plenty of caffeine. Since I’ve given up fizzy drinks except for when we go out for a meal, I was really struggling.

This week I had a gain. This gain was 1.5lb, quite a big gain for me so I am eager to get it straight back off again. This week I have been eating a lot better, I’m back to walking lots again and I’ve got so much more planned. We went out for a prearranged lunch today but I am getting straight back on plan this evening and I’m looking forward to weighing in next week.

I’m hoping with my good eating, all my walking, the fact I’m joining the newly started village running club on Sunday and the fact I also spent the day at Go Ape yesterday help me to come out with a good loss. I’m even preparing my breakfasts the night before – why did no one force me to have overnight oats before? They’re so yummy. Totally hoping to turn this around for next week. Wish me luck!
