Starting on the 22nd of October at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire is their Halloween special, Howl-O-Ween. Starting with Wolf Night (which my other half is gutted about missing as we’re actually away and wolves are his favourite animal!), there is a whole week’s worth of spooky fun right up until Halloween on the 31st of October. There are even chances to win stuff with the #fabzoolus Howl-o-ween hunt where the kids can win some yummy treats and also be in with a chance to win a Snooze at the Zoo experience for the family.
Upon arrival all children will receive free wolf masks as they explore our Wolves Woodland Walk and encounter free roaming Wolves. They get to experience the fear factor of getting up close and personal with some of the creepy crawly animals in the daily Creepy Critters shows or join in with Team Paradise and go crazy with them in their Spooktacular dance and games performances – and if this wasn’t enough, they can also check out Dracula’s Bat House or enjoy watching the many Beautiful animals tuck into some scrumptious pumpkin enrichment. Sounds like fun, right? We’re gutted to be missing it but luckily got the chance to visit Paradise Wildlife Park this past weekend to see what it was like.
We weren’t quite sure where to start when it came to going round the park – there was just so much to look at! Since we will be attending again very soon, we didn’t quite get to everything but we did manage to do quite a lot – from feeding the animals to Jack and Steve holding snakes and bearded dragons! We had some lunch in one of the restaurants and saw some beautiful animals up close.
There is so much for adults and children alike to do and we still have so much to do and see next time – we haven’t yet ridden the woodland train, taken advantage of the adventure golf nor has Jack truly explored the playgrounds with slides and things aplenty. He has however really enjoyed the many photo opportunities there are around the park as you can see below:
We had a fantastic first time visiting Paradise Wildlife Park and can’t wait to go back again soon. We are gutted to be missing the Halloween half term fun but we are looking forward to seeing what other events are to come over the next year. We are very lucky to have been chosen as official blogger ambassadors for the next year so we will be visiting a few times, especially at specific times of year where major events are going on.
Have you ever been to Paradise Wildlife Park?
