Wrapping Up Warm: Winter Wardrobe

This is a sponsored post

I don’t know about you but this weather is really starting to get me down now. I daren’t venture outside my front door with Jack for fear of getting blown halfway down the road and landing in a puddle that is two foot deep. Steve’s on day shifts at the moment which means if I need something from the shop, I either have to ask my Mum to grab it on her way to work or wait for Steve to get home. The area I live in is quite green and surrounded by trees, some which are known for leaning a little precariously so any action I can take to keep Jack safe, I will do – I choose to keep him indoors unless I really do have to go out.

When Steve was off at the weekend, I took advantage to get rid of my cabin fever by popping down to the local shops. I really wish I hadn’t. Not only was the wind whistling around my ears at about ninety miles an hour but it was so, so cold! I thought I’d wrapped up well but seemingly not. With temperatures like they have been, is it any wonder snow keeps being predicted – only for the sun to rear its head behind those clouds again? Times like these make me realise that my wardrobe definitely isn’t weather appropriate for winter. Fair enough, I have a few jumpers and hoodies but a couple of pairs of leggings, trackie bottoms and some jeans aren’t going to cut it in these temperatures. I am desperately in need of some outdoor clothing to stay warm but knowing me, it will be summer before I actually get round to buying anything!

Do you ever find yourself under prepared for the seasons or is it just me?
