We all put our energy into different things – we all have different hobbies. Some people choose to spend time reading, others like to spend time making their garden beautiful. We all spend our energy in different ways and First Utility recently conducted a survey of 2000 people to find out what they liked to put their energy into. They’ve collated this into a handy infographic which you can see below.
I love putting my energy into reading, writing and entering competitions – perhaps occasionally watching TV – so I am happy to see that most of these made the list! It is also interesting to see the differences in hobbies between males and females and between different age groups – it is interesting to see that gardening is loved equally but cooking and baking is preferred by the females. However, I am not surprised by the fact that younger people love shopping!
I must admit I am surprised to see such hobbies as entering competitions and star gazing & astronomy making the list (despite my love for one). I didn’t think that they were that popular overall but perhaps I was wrong!
