It is no secret that I love Italy and would happily live there if I could. One place on my travel bucket list is Florence. My Dad has

I’ve been taking a look at things to do in a weekend and I think I’ve found three that would really be of interest of me. I do like to do

Truffle Hunts
This immediately stood out to me as something I would love to do. In the Boscone di Forcoli wood, join one man and his four legged friend
in seeking out the white truffle (commonly found in Winter), the Bianchetto (found in March) and the Black one called Nero Liscio and the Scorzone. This means there are always truffles to be found which would make a truffle hunting experience a perfect way to spend your day.

Food Tour
There are a number of walking food tours to choose from around Florence and this is something I would definitely partake in. I love trying new food and my favourite cuisine is Italian so what’s not to love? There are a number of different tour guides to book these tours with and each
have a certain number of people that can join each tour. Visiting the Central Food Market Hall of Florence and having some food tastings is like a dream to me.

Shopping
Finally, how can I talk about things to do in Florence and not mention shopping? Italy is home to some of the world’s leading fashion designers and Florence is home to a few designer outlets such as Prada and Dolce and Gabbana. Fendi and Roberto Cavalli are also names that pop up as
shopping destinations and The Mall houses Gucci, Valentino and Alexander McQueen amongst others. I would love to have a browse in some of the world’s biggest fashion names stores and perhaps treat myself to a little something.

There is so much available to do in Florence that you would struggle to get everything done in a month, let alone a weekend. But if you are
