Banks
Monzo – This isn’t my main account but is one I keep for certain perks such as when we are travelling abroad. Get £10 when you sign up here and make a card payment.
MyGuava – I am only just starting to use this but I am liking it so far! Complete the required tasks upon signing up here within 40 days and receive £30.
Wealthify – The kids have their Junior ISA’s with them and we have been impressed in the few months since we started the account. Sign up here and have at least £1000 invested for at least 5 months and receive £50.
Cashback
Airtime Rewards – This cashback site is a little different as the money you earn gets taken off your phone bill. However if you wince when you pay your phone bill like me, any discount is a good discount! I have also joined Ignite at no extra cost which means I can cash out at £5 instead of £10. Sign up here and earn a £2 bonus with my code.
Cheddar – I love this app because it does it automatically! I also love that you can cash out from £5! Join here and get £2!
Custard – This is both a cashback site and a site where you can make money by signing up to offers. I’ve only just joined an hour or so ago but already have £2.50 which I can withdraw now! Join here and earn a £2 welcome bonus.
Quidco – My least used but they do offer some great deals on cashback every now and again and have some retailers you struggle to find elsewhere. Earn £15 here when you sign up and spend over £5.
Rakuten – The newest cashback site/app added to my arsenal but I’ve already earned over £50! This seems to have many of the same shops other cashback sites do but also some you can’t find anywhere else. Get £25 when you sign up here and spend over £30 in the first 90 days.
Top Cashback – Perhaps my most used one that you have to manually access – I’ve earned over £1200 since I started using it. Get a £10 sign up bonus when you sign up here.
Shopping
Whatnot – I love this app and have actually found myself spending a lot of money on here but I’ve also made a pretty penny too! You can be just a buyer if you want which is what I am but you can get some great deals on here! We collect certain trading cards and have bought in to some streams and made our money back tenfold with what we have pulled. I have also managed to get some great cheap Christmas gifts for the kids here that were way more expensive elsewhere. Sign up here and get a gift card between £10 and £200 to spend on the app!
Utilities
Octopus Energy – This is the first time I have found an energy company that I simply cannot fault. I have never encountered a problem with them, I always know what I am paying is correct and I also love that you can take advantage of certain perks. Add in the chance to win points and also take advantage of free energy hours and they really cannot be beaten. Join here and get £50 for signing up.

Wonderful, thanks for all the tips. It’s so handy, especially when everyone is skint at the start of the year. I’m on Octopus Energy. Something that might help those on low income is that they were giving out free electric blankets to help keep costs low.
