Three Perfect 2015 Moments

2015 is nearly over and so much has happened this year – too much to mention! But it has been a really good year in places, not so good in others but isn’t that the same for all years? We all have our ups and downs but we still always look back on the year with fondness. I’m lucky that this year I managed to get photos of the most special moments, I love taking pictures of our lives and what we get up to and we got up to a lot this year!

Here are some of my top moments of 2015…

First of all it has to be Jack’s graduation from pre school. It was so bittersweet as he really loved it there but luckily his best friend from pre school also went up to the nursery with him.

He looks so happy in this picture, I don’t think he really understood that this was his last day at pre school and he still walks past there every now and again and asks to see the ladies who run it. He really enjoyed himself there and I know he would have loved to stay there but it was time for him to move on.

Next up has to be my best friends wedding. We don’t all get to see each other that often anymore so her hen night and wedding day were really special. I really love this picture of Michelle, Alice and myself even if we do look a little sweaty from all the dancing! It was a fab night and I loved it.

My last moment of 2015 has to be this one:

Jack’s first day at nursery school in his brand new uniform. He has come on so much since being there, his speech is amazing and he remembers a lot more than he ever used to – he comes home singing songs he has been taught and is apparently more advanced in Maths than they would expect him to be. I’m so proud.

I have been capturing most of my moments in 2015 on my phone but I am hoping to get a new camera in 2016, perhaps something like a Panasonic Lumix. I’ve had one before and they are fantastic little cameras for taking pictures on the go.

What have been your top moments of 2015?

  1. Awww your little boy looks so happy & smart in his uniform! I love looking back throughout the year to remember what we’ve been up to. I’ve heard the Lumix is a great little camera too! xx

  2. Gosh it seems early to be thinking about “best memories of the year” but you’re right, it’s nearly done and dusted. Highlights for me include our first family holiday abroad, my best friend’s wedding and winning an award for my blog – along with the more mundane every day moments of school runs and aventures.

  3. Beautiful moments you have captured here and so lovely that you can look back on all of them. So glad to hear Jack’s getting on well at his new nursery school, it’s amazing how much that kind of environment can bring out of them! xxx

  4. Lovely post. I need to do something like this – not necessarily on the blog but I find it really helpful to look back at the good parts of the year, especially in a year when a few bad things have happened. I love the graduation photo.x
