When you go to an event, what do you most look forward to? The networking, the food, the speeches? I know that I enjoy all of them and I know how important it is to make sure all aspects of your event are covered.
Something that you really need to consider is the appearance of speakers at your event. After all, it would be a pretty poor event if the audience isn’t interested in what the person on stage has to say, wouldn’t it?

Sometimes people may be unsure about attending an event until they see the roster for people speaking. Sometimes having a certain person speaking at an event can be the difference between someone choosing to attend or not to. You might even find that these people who choose to attend because of a specific speaker encourage their friends and colleagues to attend too!
It Gives Your Event Credibility
By putting the effort into finding a speaker who is perfect for your event, you will give the whole event credibility. As mentioned above, it will provide a talking point and may encourage people to attend who were previously unsure. It gives your target audience a warm feeling about your company or cause and may mean they become even more interested in what you have to say and what you have to offer.
They Can Break Up A Day
Some events can go on for hours and whilst there is always something to do, having some guest speakers making speeches midway through the day can break it up a little and keep your attendees happy, energised and interested in the event.
