Testing Out The PAJ GPS PET Finder 4G GPS Tracker

Now you may already know that I have a Dalmatian and he is an energetic boy! He is also quite strong so I am unable to take him out on my own as I usually have both of the younger children with me. This means he either goes out with Steve or with us all which he really enjoys. He very rarely strays from us – he is quite a good boy – but sometimes excitement gets the best of him and he can run off – although we usually get him straight back, haha! I thought it was well worth testing out a GPS tracker to see how it would work.

What is the PAJ GPS Pet Finder 4G Tracker?

It is said to be the most reliable GPS device for pets in the UK. You can monitor everything in real time on mobile devices and PCs. It is covered globally and is compatible with everything.

How Does It Work?

You clip the small and compact tracker onto their existing collar and set it up easily,  connecting it to your phone or other device. You can set certain parameters so you will be made aware if your dog leaves them.

We only have ours in use when leaving the home as we tend to take our dog’s collar off when at home.

What Features Does It Have?

The tracker has some great features including::

  • Instant notifications
  • Location history stored for up to 365 days
  • Excellent battery life
  • Live tracking
  • Geo fencing – set parameters to certain boundaries and be alerted when your pet leaves them

What Do We Think?

We’ve only used it for a few days but we are very impressed so far. It was very easy to set up. We haven’t ventured too far from home yet due to shift work and the awful weather but we have a trip in a few weeks to somewhere we haven’t been before so this is a necessity! On the off chance he potentially stays with my mum, it is even more of a necessity as he knows exactly how to get round her and will definitely plan to be an escape artist! We will definitely need to be keeping tabs on them then!

We’ve found the location tracking to be great – it pinpoints exactly where he is. It is also great that the tracker is covered globally so you are not bound by restrictions that certain programs such as Bluetooth are bound by.

Where can I buy it?

You can buy yours from their shop from £9.99 upwards – but don’t forget you can also get a 10% discount code if you sign up to their newsletter!
