Six Ways To Make Family Life Easier

Collaborative Post

If there is one thing that all parents can agree on, it’s that family life is complicated sometimes. Children complicate things in the best way, but that doesn’t mean that life isn’t chaotic. You want to give your children the best of everything, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t make your own life more comfortable in the process.

Parenting is important, but knowing the hacks that will give you a break every now and then is merely smart. For example, knowing you can get a better deal on the New Vauxhall Combo Life MPV and have a bigger family car is a quick hack to make those school and club drop offs far simpler! With that in mind, let’s check out some parenting hacks that’ll help you to have a better time of it with the kids.

  1. Use The Dot Method. If you have a whole brood of kids running around the house, then use the dot method when it comes to sorting clothing. Add a colored Sharpie dot to the tags of all of their clothing is a smart plan! So, for the first child, you add one dot, for the second child, two dots – and so on. It’ll make sorting laundry far simpler.
  2. A Baby Playpen. Trapping the tiny ones when you need to get the chores done isn’t always simple, but toddlers on the move are little destructors! You need to add a blow-up playpen to the lounge, and as you need to get some small jobs done, add the toddler. This only doesn’t work if the toddler can climb!
  3. Shower Caddies For More Than Showers. A shower caddy is for so much more than just the shower! If you put extra shower caddies in the car and in the bathroom – and the laundry room, come to think of it. The added storage can really be a great addition to the house, and you can keep a lot of fiddly things in them. Think food and drinks in the car: much easier to clean up when they’re in a caddy!
  4. Monster Spray. Got kids afraid of the dark? Well, you need monster spray. All you need is some edible glitter and water and a dash of glue in a spray bottle. Spray the affected area with monster spray and bam – happy kids!
  5. Car Seat Blankets. For bigger kids in your brand new Vauxhall, you can add these fantastic blankets to the car so that they can keep warm. Coats in car seats are a danger, so this way, all the kids remain safe and warm.
  6. Pool Noodles For Doors. If you have old pool noodles lying around, don’t bother with the garbage man – just use them! Cut the side of one and fit it to the tops and bottoms of doors. No more slammed baby hands!

Family life is chaos, but with these six tips, you can make life a lot easier. It would help if you did all you can to make your kids as happy as possible. Relaxed parents = relaxed kids!
