Monday was a day Olivia had been waiting for. She was actually meant to start the week before but due to us being in quarantine, she started a week later.
She went in her uniform, most of which handed down from her friends in the year above or grabbed from the PTA and off she went with her new book bag, her new water bottle and a bag with a change of clothes!

We are now at Wednesday and Olivia couldn’t be happier. She was so ready to go to nursery, talking about it ever since we got confirmation that she had got a place. She has been enjoying her free milk, her snack – although she didn’t like the snack today as it was carrot apparently – and doesn’t ever seem to want to leave!
I can’t wait to see how she gets on as we get further on into the year – she’s taken to school like a duck to water and it is lovely to see all the same teachers again, years after Jack left the nursery!

I remember C when she started nursery she was so excited and loved going, it is such an emotional time for the kids and also us Mums having to give our babies up
Glad she had a great first day! It must be so exciting for all of you!
Awww that is so sweet that she is enjoying her nursery and she looks cute in her little uniform
She looks so adorable in her uniform, I bet that must have been such a big day for you waving her off x
Great to hear she is settling in well & enjoying school. It’s been such a tough time recently, particularly for children.
Olivia looks so happy and excited to go to Nursery! I think it is easier for the second child and they adjust easier to school compared to the first as they have seen their older sibling go to school.
I am so glad she settled in well, it is a very different experience for them all but its so lovely to see them interacting with other kids
