Learning The Basics Of Cryptocurrency

I don’t know about you but I am always looking for new ways to make money – I even have a whole category dedicated to it here on this blog. I am desperate to get some debts paid off and to get my savings back up to a good level again but recent events have seen everything take a hit – savings have gone dramatically down and debts have risen too. Just before we moved, I put a little money into stocks and some into cryptocurrency and started to learn a little more about them.

I want to maximise my returns as much as possible – who wouldn’t? – but I know it is all completely reliant on certain things. I also want to earn interest on cryptocurrency where possible so have been looking into ways of doing this. I’ve been taking a look at a service that believes everyone should be able to safely access high interest gains from the Crypto market. I would obviously like the opportunity to access such gains myself but I am pretty much clueless about cryptocurrency as a whole.

It is important to know at least a little about the topic when starting out but what are the basics when it comes to learning about cryptocurrency?

What Is Cryptocurrency?

It is a digital currency, it’s an alternative form of payment which uses encryption technologies. You use a cryptocurrency wallet to hold your currency which can be stored on your computer or your mobile phone or tablet. Cryptocurrency is still quite new and can be volatile plus there is the added worry of losing access to your wallet which means you lose your cryptocurrency.

What Do I Need To Know?

You need to have a basic understanding of what it is and how it works, at the very least. You should use a trustworthy wallet – there are quite a few out there, don’t choose something that isn’t well known or doesn’t have good reviews. You will also need to think about what to do if you lose access to the computer or device which holds your wallet.

What Different Cryptocurrencies Are There?

There are quite a few different cryptocurrencies out there right now but there are a few that are probably well known than others. These include Bitcoin (which is perhaps the most well known out of the lot!), Ethereum, Dogecoin and Cardano. I personally have some Bitcoin whereas Steve has a wallet with some Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether.

Which Should I Buy Right Now?

There is no way to really say which one you should buy right now as the best one to buy often changes daily or even more often. I have chosen to simply stay with the most popular but others tend to give smaller ones a try and see what happens.

I am still learning the basics – I am still pretty clueless about cryptocurrency but I am keen to learn more and know I want to see what potential returns I could get from them. Do you know much about the topic?
