Do you love Oreos? Then you are bound to love this advent calendar. Each window contains an mini Oreo, covered with white or milk chocolate covered chocolate and topped with a cute little decoration which themselves are covered in edible gold dust!
As you’d expect from an advent calendar, there are multiple different doors but this one is super cool in that you get a door for Christmas Day too! I love advent calendars such as this that are a break from the norm of tiny little chocolates!
The Packaging
The calendar comes wrapped in a cellophane wrapped to keep it protected. The brand deliver nationwide so it needs to be packaged well to avoid any damage.
The packaging is absolutely beautiful with some beautifully illustrated doors and the logo of both La Di Da and Oreo easy to see. The back of the packaging tells you exactly what to expect and contains allergen information so you can check to see if they are suitable for people in your family.
The Christmas theme with sparkles and snowflakes is such a nice touch!
The Contents
As you can see, the chocolates come in a clear tray inside the exquisite cardboard box and each is a lovely circular shape with a different decoration on the the top. These range from Christmas trees to mistletoe to stars to bells. These are all handcrafted well and I am impressed with how well these stood up to the postal service – especially when caught up in the recent strikes.
These are the perfect bitesized mouthful for every morning in the run up to Christmas – they taste great and are a real treat every morning! If you have an Oreo fan in your home, then this advent calendar is a must for them as it pairs a wonderful combination of Oreo and either white or Belgian milk chocolate.
