The Photographer

Do a lot of research to find that Wedding Photographer whose images really resonate with your heart. You need someone with a bit of experience, as well as some creative flair and enthusiasm. You may be trying to make savings in some areas, but the photographer and the dress are areas where you shouldn’t skimp.

Build Rapport

Building a good rapport with the wedding photographer is a must. After all, they are going to be with you all day on your most special day. They will learn when a smile a genuine, for example. Maybe tell that which side you prefer too. Take a good look at their body of work and find a wedding that has a similar theme and style to your own. Tell the photographer the images you like best, and they will develop a feel for what will work best.

Get Practicing

It is definitely a good course of action to start practising your poses. Think about angles, and smiles, and sides. Any great photographer should be able to pick up on the chemistry you and your partner exude and capture something that is perfectly natural. However, there will be copious of posed images too. So maybe get a friend or family member to accompany you to an appropriate spot, if not the place where the images will be taken, then somewhere similar, and learn how to take a good picture.

Photo Spots

Go to the venue before and work out just where exactly you would like the photos to be taken. Perhaps somewhere where the light is perfect for reflecting off your tiara or somewhere with a stunning background. Maybe think about weather conditions too and find places appropriate for rain if you need that backup.

What about a Makeup Artist?

It may be worth your while visiting a few makeup artists and getting your face all done up, and working out what exactly suits you and what looks good in photos. A makeup artist will be able to highlight your best features in a way you had never done before, and this will make you feel like a million pounds. Once you have seen your face all dolled up, you may want to make some changes to your personal makeup collection, too, to perfect your own look. Makeup is a vital tool for those perfect photos.
