Have A Bar
A bar is going to be a great shout for anyone who likes to spoil themselves with a few drinks. Depending on how many are attending and what you can afford, you might want to think about having a mobile bar hire. This might prove to be slightly more expensive, but you save on the hassle and having any extra alcohol leftover, some of which you might not even drink yourself. It makes for a great icebreaker for those friends who may not each other that well. Either way, however you do it, make sure you have a well-stocked bar that will see you through the duration of the party, whether that’s daytime drinking or an evening bash. A celebratory glass of fizz is definitely needed to toast the birthday individual!
Invite Those Who You Really Want There
With your guest list, it can be very easy to invite a lot of people and particularly when it comes to kids parties, you end up inviting the whole class. For an adult’s party, it’s up to you who you want to invite, and whether you choose to have a hundred guests or just a dozen close friends and family members, It’s completely down to your choosing. Try to keep it tailored to those you really want there and who you’d like there to celebrate another year of you being on this earth. Keep it special where you can because this all might factor into the budget too.
A Karaoke Or Fun Drinking Games
With any party, it can certainly feel like it lacks something if you don’t have some fun party games to get people doing things together. A karaoke section might be good for those who love a sing-song or just your usual drinking games. Try to get someone to be the person who organises these moments within the party, especially if you’re focusing your attention on those arriving throughout the party and on the birthday individual themselves.
Bring In Catering
Catering is certainly a deal-breaker for parties, especially when it lands in a time where people would usually be eating. Try to get a caterer in to organize the food if you don’t want the hassle. Perhaps a buffet spread would be the best option, or if it’s just a few of you, then a sit-down dinner might be better. Either way, it might be worth splurging a little extra to have someone else looking after the food part of the party.
