I’m sure this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, this blog being predominantly beauty and lifestyle, however I am hoping to include Jack some more on the blog, reviewing items not only for my benefit but his and Steve’s too. I recently received a couple of items from the Ikea Soft Toy range to review for Jack. The Soft Toy range is fairly new and raises money for the Soft Toy Campaign, which sees 1 Euro donated per item bought. Most of the items in the range are £5 or under and make great stocking fillers for this Christmas for any child in your life.

We received two items; a book and one of the finger puppets*. I’m not a big fan of clowns personally, so I must admit that Steve took the lead when it came to being the puppet master. Out of the two items, Jack adores the puppet. Steve has been putting on a silly voice when he puts it on and Jack falls for it every time, truly believing the puppet is talking. Today he has been giving the puppet kisses, it’s so cute to see! I am going to try and see if I can get a video of it to show you all!He has sat down and listened to the book being read to him a couple of times, but his attention definitely favours the clown puppet the most. At such a great price (with a charity donation too!), I’m going to be adding a few more of the items into my basket this evening to add to Jack’s Christmas presents.
What is your favourite stocking filler for children? Find out more about the campaign here.

The puppet looks seriously creepy! I'm not sure I could handle either of my two kissing it, but that's definitely my issue and not anyone elses haha! My eldest has got matchbox cars, books and a couple of choccy items for his stocking 🙂 My littlest has…some bibs?!x
