I have been eagerly anticipating the release of The Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club by Lynsey James for some months now. I have long been a fan of her work, finding out about her via Twitter and talking to the lady herself on many occasions. When asked if I would like to participate in the blog tour, how could I refuse? Revisiting Luna Bay was an exciting prospect for me and I couldn’t wait to see how the story started..

Luna Bay is a magical place for me. I adored reading The Broken Hearts Book Club and was excited to see how Lynsey could bring other characters to life in the setting of Luna Bay.
Emily has a nightmare day at work, only to be made even worse by the revelation that the man she thought was her father isn’t actually her biological father. Struggling with this, she decides to find answers, heading to Luna Bay (the last place her mother heard he was living) and trying to do some work whilst there – landing the Sunflower Cottage B&B for her companies portfolio.
Emily was a little hard to like at first, she came across as a workaholic and very uptight at times. However this served to work well in her first few interactions with Noah – she was uptight, he was super rude even if it was because he was worried about Rose and the future of the B&B. As time went on though, I found myself warming to the two of them especially once they decided to set up the breakfast club whilst Rose was recuperating.
Towards the end of the book, I was willing Emily to stay in Luna Bay once her month was up and I felt her anguish at trying to decide what to do. I really enjoyed reading all about Emily and her journey and hope to see her pop up in the next book which I am eagerly anticipating already!
