It isn’t very often that I get a blogger’s event so close to home so when Atelier Redbourn announced they were holding another event, I was very excited! My local Herts/Beds girls were also excited and so it was that myself, Lisa, Emily, Sarah and Pippa descended on the salon for tons of fun!
Welcomed with canapes and lovely drinks (see below!), we had a catch up with the fantastic Alastair from Pickle PR who it is always a pleasure to see before having a chat with some of the staff and going into the salon area to find out a little more about the key hair trends this year.
We found out the key hair trends for this year are the Rope Twist, Beach Waves and Looped Ponytail. We were talked through each one and were able to look at the moodboards that Atelier Redbourn had created. We were even shown how to create these looks for ourselves as one of the members of staff showed on the models. Atelier is a great salon in the UK – click here for a fantastic hair salon in the US!
We were then given the opportunity to have these hairstyles trialled on us. I chose not to, instead taking pictures for everyone else – with Em opting for the beach waves and Sarah for the rope twist style.
I believe Pippa herself had a wash and blow dry with the fabulous mdlondon BLOW hair dryer, the staff were more than happy to oblige. After the evening’s fun, we were all kindly gifted a fabulous goodie bag with some haircare goodies and some chocolates! It is never expected to get a goodie bag but it is always nice to be appreciated, don’t you think? I love goodie bags such as this with useful things and yummy things to eat – you truly do get the best of both worlds.
I love attending events such as this at local businesses. Not only do you get the chance to discover new companies that you may not have encountered otherwise but it is also a great way for these businesses to get the word out about what they have to offer too! I am always keen to share about local businesses because after all, these are the businesses you may use day in and day out!
I cannot fault the staff at Atelier for their enthusiasm, warm welcome and professionalism. They are always full of smiles and you can tell they know what they are doing and offer great customer service whilst doing so. I would like to thank them for allowing me to attend and thanks also to Alastair for his continued great work with the salon and with us as bloggers. It was an awesome event and it is so easy to see why the salon is standing the test of time, having been there for over ten years now and still as busy and thriving as it was back then.
For a similarly great salon, check out top1one in Mayfair!

So jealous! Looks like you had a lovely time 🙂
we must get you on the guest list next time!
