A Perfect Imperfection

This is a sponsored post

Everyone has that one thing that they really don’t like about their body. I know I have, although my list has grown since having a baby. Much as people like to say they love their bodies, I can guarantee that there will be one thing that they dislike whether it is the smallest thing. It could be short, stumpy eyelashes or excess skin after weight loss – people all have those things they would change if they got the choice.

Plenty of the things I would like to change about myself are easily rectified by non-surgical means – for example, I am unhappy with my weight but this can be sorted with a healthy diet and exercise. However, there are certain things that I would love to change if I could that aren’t as easily fixed.

Plenty of my pictures are taken from a slight angle, it is very rare to get one of me face on. This is because I really do not like my nose. Plenty of people say there is nothing wrong with it but they aren’t me. When I look in the mirror, I can’t stand the look of it – the little turned up bump at the end makes me cringe – and I will admit plastic surgery has crossed my mind on more than one occasion. Myself and Steve have discussed it at length and even went so far as to look at certain companies – Make Yourself Amazing being one of them. Of course, we can’t afford it at the minute as we’re just starting to sort ourselves out but a girl can dream, right?

There are obviously pros and cons to all forms of cosmetic procedures and a list can be found of some here. It is even a topic of conversation for other bloggers including Stella Lee who posted about it on her popular blog. I know the majority of my friends and family have considered changing something about themselves in the past and some have actually done so – is this something you’d consider?
