I don’t know about you but I have always loved building a collection. I’ve got a collection of brooches that I started when I was a teenager as well as my collection of Agatha Christie books (you can see some below) but in recent years I have also started to build collections with my family.
Now our Harry Potter collection nowhere near rivals Steve’s cousins but we have slowly been building it up with different items that we pick up from different places. We tend to add to the collections when it is someone’s birthday or Christmas and that got me to thinking – aren’t collectibles a great gift idea, whether it is for birthday, Christmas or for something else entirely?
Jack has slowly been building up his Pokemon collection over the last few years and we often find that people give him something to add to his existing collection or give him some money to pick up some new pieces (and to avoid any duplication!).
