This Easter Monday, the time I had waited for all weekend had finally come. It was time to settle down and watch the Jonathan Creek special – and from what I saw on Twitter, I wasn’t alone. Whilst it wasn’t the best episode I’ve seen, I still enjoyed it and I relived my little crush on Alan Davies too!
Jonathan Creek (plus the curly haired lovely) is one of my guilty pleasures and this got me to thinking. What counts as a guilty pleasure and what doesn’t? What might be a guilty pleasure for some may be normality to others. Here are just a few of mine:
*Murder mysteries – I’m not just talking about the Poirot and Marple ones which I wouldn’t specifically count as a guilty pleasure but others such as Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Father Dowling mysteries. If its on in the afternoon and is probably aimed more towards pensioners, I love it!
*WWE wrestling – I wasn’t sure whether to include this as I know that there are a lot of bloggers out there who love it just as much as I do. But don’t you ever find that there are some people who just don’t understand your love of it? Yes, its scripted but who cares? Their storylines keep me interested a lot longer than other TV shows these days!
*Cheesy 90’s Pop – After The Big Reunion and the success of Lets Get Ready To Rhumble in recent weeks, I doubt that this even counts too! However, put some cheesy pop from the 90’s on and I’ll be as happy as larry. Macarena, anyone?
*Tuna mixed with tinned spaghetti – Don’t judge! Years back, I had nothing else available to eat so I thought I’d mix the two together and see what they tasted like – and I loved it. Strange combinations definitely have to be defined as a guilty pleasure, right?
What I’m really interested in is hearing about YOUR guilty pleasures – what do you do or like that you think that you probably shouldn’t?
Let me know! Also, why not check out Georgina’s guilty pleasures post?

Right, don't judge until you've tried it haha but I used to eat either weetabix or digestives with butter on them. I loved them and would have it as a snack.
Also, I love real murder mysteries. I watched Snapped: Women Who Kill on the Crime and Investigation channel and get hooked by it. My hubby says I should stop watching it in case I get any ideas 😉

Eww, Michaela!x
LOVE Jonathan Creek. I don't consider that a guilty pleasure because it's awesome. Although Monday's episode was a bit confusing a disappointing – too many different threads!
My guilty pleasure is the music of Michael Bolton. He's an under rated legend. xxx

AH, who doesn't love Scooter?x
Oh my god! He's my guilty pleasure too, or at least used to be, I used to have the biggest crush on him when I was younger! I cant believe I missed Jonathan Creek 🙁 My current guilty pleasure is…I can't believe I'm admitting this…Nick Knowles from DIY SOS! I love him he's just so rugged and handsome and funny too! I follow him on Twitter haha! Don't tell anyone…xxx
There IS something about Mr Knowles, I'll give you that….x
I don't see my Alan Davis crush as a guilty pleasure, I shout it from the rooftops on a regular basis 😉 I'm sure most of my friends and family are embarrassed for me! I almost leapt out of my seat when he got his duffle coat out of the wardrobe!

They're fab, aren't they?x
In the vein of spag and tuna, I love packet pasta (four cheeses or cheese and pepper) mixed with tose little canned sausages. I do not want to even consider what is in them and I try to stay a million miles away, but hey … Thanks for hosting.
