Sometimes it truly is the little things that can make a whole weekend. Yesterday my Mum and I took Jack to the local park just so he could have some fun and Steve could get some things done at home without being harassed by a toddler. It was super busy and there were plenty of older children running around erratically and being quite boisterous so we didn’t stay too long or take too many pictures but it was nice to just get out and spend some time down there in the fairly nice weather.
Jack wasn’t too happy when we had to leave – toddler meltdown ensued – but that soon stopped when he saw my brother and his dog, Brody. Jack is a big dog lover so to see his uncle and a dog meant the tears and shrieking quickly stopped.
There isn’t much to do around our village and buses are few and far between depending on your destination but we have a few favourite places and this just happens to be one of them – we can’t wait to spend more time down there in the summer!

My toddler is also so happy that the warmer weather is here so she can visit the park more. x
