Tick Tock Clock

Chances are you have heard Jack’s favourite two words if you have been around us lately – ‘tick tock, tick tock’. Everytime he sees a clock, a watch or even something that looks remotely like a clock on TV, he is bound to start tick tocking away. I’m not entirely sure where he has learnt that from – possibly CBeebies or his Dad – as I know I haven’t taught him it! Since these are his words of the moment and Steve’s birthday is coming up, what better present to get him than a watch?

Steve used to have this lovely chunky watch that his grandfather gave him but after years of use, it finally broke. Since he is at work for 12 hours of the day and constantly has to rely on his iPhone to check the time, this present would be meaningful but practical.

As always, I have taken to the internet to start my search and found myself on The Watch Hut. Whilst looking through their selection of gents watches, I found something similar to my watch above and identical to the watch he was given many years ago. Fate, perhaps? I’ve bookmarked the page so I can come back nearer the time – men are so notoriously hard to buy for, I need to take advantage of this situation!

Since it will be a present from Jack so I’m thinking of finding some more time related presents to go with it – what do you think?
