Blog Takeover: She Might Be Loved

The blog takeover today is coming from the lovely Georgina over at She Might Be Loved, a gorgeous blog by a gorgeous girl. Be sure to check her out.

Maleficent Wishlist

Hey Everyone! I’m Georgina from She Might Be Loved, where I mainly write about beauty and plus size fashion. A lot of people know me from my Halloween/Disney series (which is still going), I’ve turned myself into pretty much everything from a ghost, to the wonderfully terrifying, Maleficent, twice. With the new movie out it means that I have been obsessing over anything to do with it. Adverts, the Lana Del Ray version of Once upon a Dream and basically anything to do with Disney. Amongst my many online shopping trips, I came across the most amazing Maleficent Merchandise and thought I would do a ‘Maleficent Wish List’. I tried to keep it fairly realistic, as I can’t deny that I do indeed want a full authentic outfit and horns to match. But instead, I have picked out things that I’m probably going to buy myself over the upcoming weeks. Seen as Rebecca is a mummy blogger, I thought this would be perfect, just in case any of you, or your children, are as obsessed as me (though I doubt it).
So without further ado…..
As I said, pretty practical things, right? Not to mention, amazing gifts for any age! The first being from Etsy is a Maleficent Victorian Cameo Necklace, for just £4.88, that has a gorgeous vintage look to it, making it very wearable with pretty much every outfit. I also liked the same necklace with Aurora on it too.
The Mug and notepad are both available on the Disney Store Website and I imagine that this will be the merchandise coming into stores soon (I work really close to one so it will be my second home).
The makeup/pencil case type bag is also from Etsy which I thought was a really modern and subtle way to bring Disney into your everyday life without it causing too much attention, plus it’s only £6.10. Finally from my little collage is the Maleficent doll, several versions have been realised and I imagine they will all be available in store soon as well.
Of course, I didn’t stop there. I’m not planning on adding to my room with this beautiful display of Disney Villains, because everyone loves a good villain, right? A classy way to have Disney in your house without it being too ‘in your face’ as the bright colours in disney normally are. This is by an amazing shop on Etsy where you can get pretty much every Disney character! These 5 posters all together are £30.51! Definitely one to check out if you’re looking to add a little something special in a room.
If you do go to see the film then I hope you’ve enjoyed it! You can catch what I thought of the film over on my blog, where no doubt I’ll be making a big fuss over it.
And if you’ve enjoyed this post then you can also catch me over on my Twitter and Instagram of @GeorginaGrogan_
Thanks for reading!

  1. LOVE this post!! I've been so hyped about Maleficent since I first heard it was being made. If the MAC packaging were a bit better on their Maleficent collection then I might feel more compelled to buy some of their makeup. Just saw the film yesterday and thought it was amazing…even better than I thought it would be. Now I really want (need) that Disney Villains poster set!
