I was sent the kit for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
I am always looking to eat more healthily – as are the rest of my family. We tend to eat a lot of yogurt but as you can imagine, this can get quite expensive. We have always considered making our own and when offered the chance to review this Probio7 Life Yogurt Making kit, I said yes.
The kit is designed to deliver 6 billion friendly bacteria from 3 well-researched strains, selected specifically to support your gut health. Using the machine, each morning you can give your gut what it needs and unlike store-bought yogurts and bacteria starter mixes, you know exactly what you are getting.
What Is Included In The Kit?
The kit has a few different items. These include:
- 1 yogurt making machine
- 8 x 125ml ceramic pots
- 2 x 250ml ceramic pots
- 1 x Greek strainer
- 1 x recipe booklet
This kit also came with a Happy Gut starter kit which contained 1l of Jersey UHT milk, 1 sachet of Probio7 Happy Gut and a bottle to pour the milk into.

You can buy it from the website where it retails for £34.99. Customers can get monthly refills as one-off purchases or sign up to their subscription service.
What Did We Think?
We had great fun making our first batch of yogurt and can’t wait to order some more refills from the website. We set up the yogurt maker according to instructions, choosing to use the two 250ml pots – one for Steve and one for me.
All we needed to do was add the UHT milk and sachet of Probio7 Happy Gut to the glass mixing bottle. Then shake it up and transfer to the pots. Then all we had to do is add 400ml of water to the machine, pop the pots in, add the lids and close the machine. Then finally press the yogurt making function and come back in 8 hours!
The whole process was extremely simple and the machine itself was easy to store on the countertop whilst the yogurt was being made. I loved being able to make it easily by myself and have some delicious yogurt at the end of it but I also loved that the simplicity made it easy to get the kids to help me make it too!
We will definitely be making more yogurt in the future!
Overall, we were very impressed with this yogurt maker – it is a really sleek design and fits nicely on the countertop plus is easy to store away.
It is a simple process to make the yogurt and the end result tastes great. We will definitely be making more asap!
