Jack was sent a copy of this book for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are his own. This post contains affiliate links.

I’ve mentioned before that Jack is a total bookworm and loves discovering new authors and new books. He was recently asked if he would like to read and review Shakespeare Shake-Up {affiliate link}by Steven Vinacour and he was really intrigued by the book!

About The Book

A new title in the Ted and His Time-Travelling Toilet series, Shakespeare Shake-Up sees Ted travelling back in time to get acting tips from Shakespeare himself.

He hopes to become Romeo to Chloe’s Juliet in the school play however things go slightly awry, thanks to some dodgy plumbing and two new additions at school.

Encompassing history, adventure and comedy with Shakespeare quotes and education about Shakespearean characters, this is a wonderful book for young readers interested in a fun read and learning more about Shakespeare himself.

What Jack Thought

Having not read any books by the author before, Jack felt like it was a great introduction and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Jack loves reading, loves funny stuff and loves history and this book delivered on all fronts.

Jack knows how much I love Shakespeare but didn’t really know much about the man himself. This book is a fun read and enabled him to find out more about an important figure in a fun way.

The character of Ted is really cool and gets up to lots of adventures and I think the idea of a time travelling toilet is unique and fun – and something a ten year old boy finds really funny!

He has already asked me if he can read the rest of the series so I would say that tells you all you need to know. It’s a five star read from him!

About The Author

Steven Vinacour not only writes books but also writes and directs TV shows and adverts as well as owning a content creation company!

His loves include skateboarding, dogs, magic, going to the gym, eating and (of course!) writing books about toilets! He cannot sing and cannot really dance or play football either. He’s also not very good at being an adult too! He doesn’t take life too seriously – and that’s great!
