I can’t believe we are now on week 63! Bonkers!
Yesterday gave us the news that things will be delayed from the 21st of June until the 19th of July which was to be expected. I am not too bothered – I’d rather we beat this new variant rather than all rush out!

The questions are:
- How are you feeling/coping?
- What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
- What is your favourite post of the past 7 days (it can be yours or someone elses!)?
- Do you have any plans for lockdown easing?
- What have you bought this week that others might like? (Especially if it is from a small business.)
- What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
- What would you like the future to know about life during a pandemic?
- Anything else you would like to mention?

1. How are you feeling/coping?
I am okay but struggling with this heat! Don’t want to complain though as it’s better than rain and the cold.
2. What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
The kids went back to school after half term so it has mainly been working, reading and melting in the temperatures! I also went out for bottomless brunch on Saturday which was lovely.
3. What is your favourite post of the past 7 days?
Probably my reading challenge update that I shared yesterday.
4. Do you have any plans for lockdown easing?
Well, it’s not properly easing for another month now but I am going away with a friend and my mum at the weekend for a couple of days.
5. What have you bought this week that others might like?
I actually cannot think of anything!
6. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
My family.
7. What would you like the future to know about life during a pandemic?
That nothing was ever set in stone – things constantly changed.
8. Anything else you would like to mention?
That I can’t wait for the last season of Brooklyn 99 now that I know they have wrapped filming!

I am struggling with the heat, we had a week away and I told my husband on Sunday night that we need air conditioning in our bedroom. I hope you enjoy your time away
I’m with you. I don’t mind the delay in reopening things. Not bought anything exciting. I’m preferring the heat to the cold too.
I’d definitely rather beat the variant too! I’m just glad life can function, not fussed about rushing back to big events at all!
I am definitely struggling with the heat too! Don’t get me wrong, its better than rain but I am so hot and have already got all the fans down to keep us all cool lol! x
In our area lockdown has been over for a while, thankfully! Life has been back to normal for a bit, which has felt so amazing!
The heat has been awful hasn’t it – I’ve moved the bedroom fan into the lounge for in the day as well – just to try and stay bareable!
Life in a lockdown has thought me many things – one is being greatful in waking up everyday
I am also excited for Brooklyn 99! I have an AC Unit that has been a life saver this week – it’s been so hot.
